Gastric Bypass....and my view!

So I walked into a Bariatric Center tonight. Not knowing that they don't do the surgery, but they HELP clients choose NOT to do the surgery by selling appetite suppressants. The lady told me at the front desk BEFORE she knew my situation that people die from the surgery. I looked at her and said, Umm excuse me I had it 2 years ago, I have lost 160 pounds and I AM STILL BREATHING AND I DON'T NEED A PILL TO STOP ME FROM EATING! Her jaw dropped! She tried to make things right and I said, you have clearly said enough...BITCH! She hit the WRONG button!

Bill was with me and was offended! He could not believe her response!

She even tried to make things right with me by telling me that people who have had the surgery come to them wanting the appetite suppressants. I said lady listen, if someone who has had the Gastric Bypass comes here to maintain their weight by a PILL....they are not doing it right!!! That is actually why you have the surgery, so you can LOOSE weight on your own and  not with a flippin pill!

This is the exact reason why I am going to pursue my dream...you will see me helping and guiding patients wanting to and who have had the surgery....

The world today has a view....GASTRIC BYPASS is the easy way out, and it's NOT! It's hard, HARDER then loosing it with Weight Watchers, harder then Nutra System, Harder then hard core workouts, Harder then ANYTHING!!!! All Gastric Bypass is...is a TOOL given to us over weight Americans wanting to loose the weight who are sick of the "yo-yo" effect! Gets us on the right track to better our lives and BECOME HEALTHY!

If you don't understand this then you don't understand me or my family or friends who have had this!

As you can read, this lady hit a button with me....one that is sensetive!

Like I said, you will see me in the future working with patients who want to have the surgery and who have had the surgery. I want to guide them and help them along their journey. Letting them know that it will be "okay" and they can LOOSE THE WIEGHT!

The Weight Is Over.....

Dinner with the Fitch's

Well we had a fantastic dinner tonight with Tim and Sarah Fitch!!

For appetizer's we had home made Pimento cheese. As well as a fantastic corn dip that Mrs. Fitch shared with me. Bill also made a batch of wonderful Fried Pickles....once you've moved south EVERYTHING IS FRIED! Although we have not converted that much...pickles we have!

For dinner we had BBQ shrimp and Chicken, and freshly made potato salad.
As always dinner was accompanied by some fantastic wine, water and coffee!! I think I have the Fitch's hooked on a Keurig Coffee Maker...  :)

Dessert was a wonderful Cheese cake that Sarah and Tim provided.

Such a great time by all, I even learned that Mr. Fitch does not like to help people move. So I will make sure that we never ask...although...I have a feeling we won't need too!! WE LOVE SOUTH CAROLINA!

Here are a few pictures that Tim took of our girls as they provided us with the delights of a dinner fashion show!

Just a quick little "update" to keep everyone happy!!!

As always, thanks Mr. and Mrs. Fitch for a wonderful night!

Enjoy!!

Brunch w/ my Brother!

While I was home in January, I had  a wonderful opportunity to have brunch with my brother and his cute family!

It's not often I can make it home, so when I do I like to take the opportunities while they are there are visit with Andy and his family.

Andy made his famous french toast, fruit salad, and Gianelli Maple Sausage links.

My niece Delilah has gotten so big. I introduced her to whipped cream....she loved it!!!

Andy, if your reading this...which you better be, I love you with all my heart!! You have turned into a wonderful husband and a loving father. I hope you can take the time out of your busy schedule and come and visit soon.
